Film photography gallery

Overview

Filmworks by Tosh is a gallery for everyday scenes and travel photographed on film. Originally built with WordPress, the public gallery was migrated to Cloudflare Pages in September 2026.

Problem

Film photos have large originals (up to 4 MB+ each), which are heavy to serve as-is. The site also needed organization and room to grow.

Original WordPress implementation

GeneratePress provided a lightweight theme, ACF structured artwork metadata, and EWWW Image Optimizer handled WebP conversion and responsive images. WPCode managed analytics tags and snippets; Media Sync supported bulk imports.

Cloudflare migration

The 56 published works, descriptions, photographic metadata, and individual URLs were preserved. Corrupted display images were rebuilt from their originals. The gallery keeps its original header, spacing, and gentle image reveal.
